The Order of the Elf Cat is a unique cooperative of breeders who have come together to promote a new trait of the Sphynx commonly known as the "Elf Cat." Elf cats are currently considered an experimental new trait of the Sphynx in The International Cat Association (TICA). The breeders who are members of this cooperative share the common goals of breeding healthy, genetically sound, Elf Cats, advancing the developement of the Elf Cats in an ethical and responsible manner, and promoting the recognition of the Elf Cats in our respected registries of choice.

Elf Cats were originally created by cross breeding the hairless Sphynx with the curled eared American curl. The resulting cats are the lovable, laughable, cats we are seeing today!

This website is meant to serve as a public face of the organization and a one stop shop for all things Elf Cat! Within this site you will find information about the development of the breed,  We encourage you to check the website often for information regarding the work being done by the breeders, kitten announcements, development of the breed, and promotion of the breed.
